  4. About Finance 2.0

  6. Finance 2.0 for Mac OS is a personal checking, savings, and credit card account management program
  7. from Freelance Enterprises.
  8.  
  9. It features quick and easy setup, pop-up menus to speed data entry, automatic calculations, account
  10. overview, account searching by any text, built in context aware help and much more! Fully compatible 
  11. with Mac OS 8 and Year 2000 compliant.

  13. Finance 2.0 is a shareware application and features a free 30 day evaluation period. Registration cost is 
  14. $20.00 (US) per copy. Site and world-wide registration options are also available.

  16. Finance 2.0 requires Mac OS 7 or later, a 68030 processor or later or PowerPC, at least 4 MB of RAM and
  17. up to 2.5 MB of disk space.

  21. Registration Information

  23. Registering this software is fairly simple.  Open the "Register" program that came with this software by
  24. double clicking on it in the Finder or by selecting one of the registration options in the "Shareware
  25. Reminder" window.

  27. Enter your name, your email address, and the number of single user licenses for this software you wish
  28. to purchase  (or Site or World-Wide Licenses).  Save, copy or print the data from the Register program
  29. and send the date and payment to Kagi.   Kagi handles the payment processing for ALL orders made
  30. through the Register and the Kagi Online Order Processing site.

  32. If paying with a credit card or First Virtual,  you can email or fax the data to Kagi.  Their email address
  33. is sales@kagi.com and their fax number is +1 510 652-6589.   You can either copy the data from the 
  34. Register program and paste it into the body of an email message or you can save the data to a file and
  35. attach that file to an email message.  There is no need to compress the data file,  it's already pretty small.
  36. If you have a fax modem, just print the data to the Kagi fax number.

  38. Payments sent via email are processed within 3 to 4 days.  You will receive an email acknowledgement
  39. when it is processed.  Payments sent via fax take up to 10 days and if you provide a correct internet email
  40. address you will receive an email acknowledgement.

  42. If you are paying with cash or USD check you should print the data using the Register program and 
  43. send it to the address shown on the form, which is:

  50. You can pay with a wide variety of cash from different countries but at present if you pay via check, it 
  51. MUST be a check drawn in US Dollars.  Kagi cannot accept checks in other currencies, the conversion
  52. rate for non-USD checks is around USD 15 per check and that is just not practical.

  54. If you have a purchasing department, you can enter all the data into the Register program and then 
  55. select invoice as your payment method.  Print three copies of the form and send it to your accounts
  56. payable people.  You might want to highlight the line that mentions that they must include a copy of
  57. the form with their payment.  Kagi can not invoice your company, you need to act on behalf of
  58. Kagi and generate the invoice and handle all the paperwork on your end.

  60. Please do not fax or email payment forms that indicate cash, check or invoice as the payment method. 
  61. As far as we know, there is still no technology to transfer physical objects via fax or email and without
  62. the payment, the form cannot be processed.

  64. Payments sent via postal mail take time to reach Kagi and then up to 10 days for processing.  Again, if
  65. you include a correct email address, you will hear from Kagi when the form is processed.

  67. This software is shareware. When you pay, you will be provided with a registration code. If you do not
  68. have an email address, please enter your complete postal address and please remember, we do not know 
  69. what country you live in so please enter that into the postal address also.    If you do not have an email
  70. address you should consider selecting the "Postcard Receipt" so that Kagi can inform you of your 
  71. registration code.  Kagi transmits the registration codes via email and paid postcard receipt only.
